I've lived in BR my whole life (I'm 32) and I have no idea what you're talking about.

I was going to suggest, if looking for "slums" in BR, a good place to start is the Indian streets.

I've never heard them or anywhere else referred to as "ghosttown", however.

Start at Perkins and Acadian. Drive north on Acadian, past government street, past Florida blvd. Continue driving. You are now in the slums, enjoy.

So you link a video that not only gives the names of the streets located in Ghosttown, but even addresses of some of the gentlemen interviewed in said video

It has Ardenwood to the east and stops at 38th street to the west. Prescott road is in the north and Choctaw to the south. Where Winbourne ave and N. Foster dr crosses at is the heart of ghost town

Why live like animals? I feel badly for the children who want to get out of those neighborhoods and have a chance at life.
