Mine freezes up about 75% of the time during or when I'm trying to answer an incoming call. Sucks.

How about moving that damn cancel button away from the add contact button in text messaging?

How about fixing the audio controls on the lock screen?

There is nothing better about any of those changes. I don't think they're conceding any design mistakes, just tweaking an OS they changed every single pixel of in less than a year.

The one design change I would like to see is moving the trash button in the email app. It's right above the home button and it gets accidentally hit way too many times while I'm trying to read an email.

It's in beta right now. Won't be able to get it for a month or 3.

This fella is moving away from iOS. Everything since 6 is unstable as hell, and the reluctance of Apple to keep up with cutting-edge hardware is moderately annoying.

Mine didn't start doing this until iOS 7 as well. Unless my phone starts blowing me soon, it's time to make a switch.

It didn't adopt dual-band wifi radios until long after they were popular.
It lacks support for AC wireless (which isn't that big of a deal, since it is difficult to find any app that will consistently deliver media bulky enough to use it)
IPS vs AMOLED (though this is a preference). I'll call the picture quality a wash between other major competitors, though I prefer the picture on the popular Samsung models, now that I have gendered at both.
Lack of DLNA support (which is firmware, so I'll include it here understanding the hardware could theoretically support it, but the software is lacking for it. Feel free to disregard this one as a. 'Up to date hardware' issue
Lack of expandable storage
Lack of ability to 'host' USB devices (OTG cables aren't fully compatible. You can import and maybe export photos, but you are limited compared to other devices. You could write this off as a firmware issue as well, based on the limited capability).
Less RAM than competitors (perhaps some frequent app crashes could be prevented here. Unsure of the actual necessity with factual numbers, but pretty certain expanding the RAM would be of some benefit based on some crash/reset problems I have)
