Probably a stepping stone for a guy like Narduzzi.

No one here is going to call them on their hypocrisy in riding Strong's arse for leaving, crowing about that "Louisville First" BS, and having Pitino, Petrino, and Clint Hurtt all on staff.

I will appreciate the ammo whenever they open their mouths about Calipari.

We have FSU, Clemson and Notre Dame on the schedule next season. Will we beat those schools? Probably not all three

Probably not any of the three.

Yep. Passed up someone they could continue to build the program on. Him or Chad Morris would've been the better hire. Especially when it comes to recruiting.

Barnhart could have hired him but didn't. All your fans wanted him.

Strong's arse for leaving

Only the idiots are doing that. Most I've heard from people has been grateful and positive.

You've just been particularly hateful throughout this whole thing.

You are enjoying it far too much. You might need a break from UofL football for a while.

And I'm glad he didn't. I certainly didn't want him. I'm pretty happy with Stoops.

Yep. Louisville has gotten away with bad recruiting due to their shitty schedule (and even then couldn't really capitalize on it fully). Playing against elite players every week in a real conference will be eye opening for them. And Petrino is a bad recruiter. His past won't help. That said, his game has always been about doing more with less.

Joker's last team was more competitive than Stoops.

I didn't and neither did most of the UK fans I know.

So is that why Bozich and Co. are avidly reporting on booster reaction to Strong's hire there to prove a point?

And hateful? Why should I not enjoy anything bad that happens to UofL?

Stoops has been at UK very briefly and if you think UK wasn't better this season than they were Joker's last season I know you weren't watching and are talking out of your arse.

Of course UK didn't have the schedule of a 4A high school to contend with this season so it may take a bit longer to produce in the W column.

Seems like an odd way to feel about your Alma Mater.

Like I said... idiots.

I sincerely hope that this Petrino rumor is nonsense.

There are literally 10 legitimately possible candidates who would be better than him

Back to back 2-10 seasons and UK is talking smack. Only Kentucky. Hopefully Bobby won't take a knee next year like he did in 2004.

Not really. Most UL alums feel the same way.

It's pretty well being reported here that he'll be introduced at the next UofL BB game.

And oh look, mentioning that I went to UofL. You're so original.

This hire needs to be about building a good future in a more competitive conference and Petrino isn't the guy for it.
