Why isn't pursuing Marlon Humphrey??

I can not be the only person wondering why LSU is not trying to target Marlon Humphrey!! This guy is one of the best corners in this 2014 class as well as very good friends with Malachi dupre and Adoree' Jackson... I think if we offer him something that he might at least consider playing with the Tigers! The other two guys are targets for LSU they would love to play together. We already lost Tony Brown(because his sister for some reason is okay with him going to BAMA Really) I just think it is worth the try we have nothing to lose....What do yall think???? #GeauxTigers

but i would love to have marlon on board with this already great class. doesnt seem to have love for lsu though

Do you know who Marlon's dad is?
All bama and not even close.
ETA: IMO I think LSU would love to have him but likely feels that any time spend on Marlon is time taken away from other recruits that will choose to play at LSU.

Heard Humphrey was strongly considering FSU but do think he ends up at Bama and lately there has been alot of kids wanting to play together at the next level so I dont think this is a bad idea but definitely too late in the game now to make a hard push for him

Some kids actually have zero interest in LSU. I'm sure if a recruit told them this in some form or fashion LSU would not pursue them aggressively.
I'm sure Humphrey has an offer but he doesn't want anything to do with LSU.

Actually it's exact opposite. He has no interest in LSU because he was never offered, because the coaches were after Tony Brown. If they would have known what they do know they would have absolutely tried to recruit Humphrey.

I think he'll end up at Florida State over Bama in the end. Way too late for LSU to get in on that party, even if he was ever interested

I see. Well I find it hard to believe that they didn't at least put some feelers out there to gauge his interest, offer or not.
