Looks like Pierre Part will be in the 70's on Saturday. Taking the yak down to bayou tranquille and wanted to see if anyone has had any luck down there lately.

My dad was at our camp over the weekend before new years...he caught a few bass in Michelle. Said he missed several as well.
Wacky worm off the cypress trees.

Paddle that yak all the way to four mile and see if the catfish are biting

From tranquille?!? I don't really feel like loading the skeeter this trip

Michel Bayou would be my bet. We used to wear them out over there when I was younger. Had a few buddies that caught a few on the NNW end of the lake before new years. Good luck!!

or just leave a bag of filets at my house. I'll draw my own conclusions from there.

All these fishing threads are driving me nuts. Need to pull my boat out and start getting it ready.

didn't do as well with the bream as we usually do last year. Hoping this year is a little better

Always fun. They pulled out the fallen tree where my fishin hole was, but I'm taking 2 Christmas trees down with me. By the way lowes sells old christmas trees for $1

Up north on Grand River ain't nothin biting. I've been on the water the past 4 weekends with nothing to show for it.
FYI there's a 70% chance of rain Saturday. Good luck though
