Some, but not much. Been a rough second split.

Saturday- brought home 5, but we lost two and there is no good reason why we didn't knock down at least 4 more. Easily could have had 12 between three of us. Saw more birds flying Saturday than we have any other day in the second split, but a lot of them were way up high.

Sunday- all we killed was 1 snow goose between 3 of us. Hardly any ducks flying. Ran in to a couple of guys at Peto's who hunt in our area and they killed 12 ducks and a few geese Saturday and killed 4 ducks and a four man limit of geese Sunday. I listened to a video of them calling geese and it made me and the two guys I was with realize that we were hunters and those guys were killers. They were from Rayne and said they hunt every day every year. Lucky bastards

Didn't see any geese. Only know a few pockets of rice fields and the marsh are doing good around me

Lots of geese in the area though

That's because there isn't one. I just LOVE saying Hooded Merganser. It's a cool arse duck name. And a weird looking bird. You would know it if you saw one.

We have seen plenty of geese, but they normally fly around our pond.

Its embarrassing the number of ducks (lack of) we have taken at our lease.

Ill be finding a new place next year. Even with the crappy season, I killed many more on public lands.

Even jsmoke said he hadn't seen many geese if I recall. They whacked em last year

Just a weird year I think
