I'd like to see him interview for the Titans job. How cool would it be to go from coaching in the SEC to coaching in the NFL without ever having to move.

If they offer, he should take it.

would be a great hire for both parties. Penn St. could be a powerhouse once the NCAA issues are behind them.

He'd be an idiot not to, but I'm hoping he stays. Did a lot of good at Vandy.

What Franklin did at Vandy was miraculous.

I guess no one considered that JF may think those recruits are vulnerable since O"B left?

Journalism is a lost art.

EDIT - SORRY, IT THOUGHT YOU SAID "What did Franklin do at Vandy that was so miraculous." read it wrong.

----------------------------------------

"Three straight years and three straight bowls for the team that was permanently at the bottom of the SEC east standings for decades and decades before he arrived with a new mindset, energy and approach that breathed life into this program that may be among the hardest places to have sustained success."

(not my words, but spot on)

I don't know; making conclusions based who assistant coaches follow on twitter seems on the same "plane" as monitoring flight plans from a coach's local airport.

Would be a good hire, IMO.

Franklin really wants out of Vandy.

All I can say is that the dude can flat out coach. He is also a great motivator and wasted little time in dismissing players who got in trouble. I like him and wish him the best if he leaves Vandy. I like Vandy and always admired them as they have kept tough academic standards. Hope they get a good replacement if he goes but will definitely keep following Franklin.

Hate pouring fuel on my own team's fire, but I can't resist this one:
quote:

PSU culture improving, head coach only covers up regular rape instead of child rape.

ETA: awesome, I can downvote my own post
