New study says Facebook is NOT a good predictor of job performance.

I feel like studies like this are inconclusive because they don't look at the details enough. Are we talking about jobs at McDonald's or executive positions? I am fairly certain that if I hire someone to be a manager and their facebook has them with a backwards flat-bill flashing wads of cash, it won't turn out well... However, if I hire him to collect the garbage, he might do just fine.

Oh well... here is the article on the study done at FSU that contradicts one done previously.

I have a friend that trolls constantly on Facebook. He's an excellent software developer, so I guess trolling and writing code are compatible skills?

Facebook is big brother. People voluntarily sign up to be stalked, monitored and judged. frick that.
