So Dupre's favorite teams going forward are widely considered to be LSU, BAMA, UCLA and FSU. Below are the class numbers and Wide Receiver Commits for each program. All rankings and numbers are based off of 247 sports. Starters returning is based of online searches for depth chart and as of right now post some declarations.

Florida State - 27 Hard verbal Commits, 1 signee, 2 receiver commits/ starters returning : 1 of 2
Travis Rudolph - 4 star/#7 receiver in the country
C.J. Worton - 3 star/ #75 in ranking
FSU has a couple of athletes who could be used at WR as well

UCLA - 15 hard verbal commits/ 2 Receiver commits/ Starters returning : 2 of 3
Alex Van Dyke - 4 star/ #38 ranked receiver

He can compete to play in any one of those systems. Couldnt blame the kid for at least looking at Florida State.

I don't feel good about it and it's mainly b/c we've been missing on these guys lately. With the exception of Fournette our track record is pretty low.

Please prove me wrong.

Why should anyone have to prove you wrong?

At this point, I'd be surprised if LSU signed him.

we missed on tony brown, because we have badass true freshman CBs and Bama has some garbage Jrs and Srs.

we missed on Willis because, who the frick knows at this point.

Speedy went to aTm because we have a long history of not utilizing guys the way he wants to be utilized.

Dupre is a NFL style WR at 6'3 which we have a history of developing NFL style wideouts and we have a TON of PT that is up for grabs.

*** First off and of note - at the UA game and in Brandon Harris' interview with Dupre' .. 'Chi was asked what's most important in your school of choice and playing time was a HUGE factor. Specifically when asked if beckam and landry leaving made a difference, his answer was "yes".

Now, if you go back and look at each possibility it goes like this :

UCLA - has the fewest commits BUT their receiver commits are both in malachi's mold and are bigger possession guys

FSU - has way, way too many commits to be considered a serious threat. It's obvious they would and will make room for Dupre' should he want to come but it's getting late in the game.

Bama - has two commits, like UCLA, from receivers with Malachi's mold. Only if he visits should they be considered a serious threat. I think he cancelled his OV with them if I am not mistaken.

LSU - Quinn is the only guy unanimously thought to be a receiver as Upchurch and Chark may project elsewhere. There's a need for a guy to come in and start right away, more than likely opposite Dural. Dupre' fits our classic mold. We need to lock up an OV.

I have a feeling these comments are said out of lack of confidence post the UA game

the only thing that makes me confident in dupre is that he basically hosted several other commits....adoree being the one that sticks out.

not brandon harris saying he was a lock?

lsu's depth chart?

lsu's recent success with wide receivers?

My comment is said out of our recent inability to sign NOLA kids that we want, with a couple of exceptions.

I could argue that but it's a moot point I think

I think our depth, our relationship built with him and our passing game going forward will be the reasons he signs with us
