Fieldwood is the same group that bought Apache's GOM group.

More than 50% of my business is taking out the junk....AKA decommissioning. So its good news for me.

I used to work for SPN Resources/Dynamic. I left before Sandridge. They MIGHT have a FEW things that need P&A'ing.

It has slid back up.

I don't know why they are selling their gulf stuff unless they really need the cash. They need to get rid of their on shore Mississippian BS in Oklahoma/Nebraska that has cost a lot of money and not really worked out.

My research has indicated that they spent too much money on the on shore play and that if they could dump it and refocus something might happen for them elsewhere. I didn't expect them to sell gulf stuff to finance the onshore thing. I guess they believe/know something...

Well, I was starting to guess myself as an owner of the company. The stock performance has been less than desirable over the last couple of years and now this news breaks on my stock alert deal this morning.

Luckily LNG has been through the roof this year... with another hellacious pop today on a rating upgrade. I guess it has spoiled me...
