Driving the 40 miles to my lease.
Touch has shown 13-20 degrees.
Doesn't seem to be much wind
Seen 2 deer and a dozen rabbits on my drive

If we hasn't had that rain the other day I'd take a chance and drive my truck down this logging road and sit in it.

Told myself anything lower than 20 and I'm not getting in a ladder. About to unload my big (hope it starts) and its a cool 19. Guess its ground blind, blankets, and sleeping with one eye open this morning

Current observation

I'm already feeling the cold through my clothes and there isn't even any wind.

Have heard more ducks in 20 minutes than I have all season

I have high hopes for at least a pig. Not confident a big buck is in the area but I'm happy to be here

Good luck

My feet are always the first to go and I forget how to walk when I get out of the stand when it's this cold
