Jeez, dude. Seems like you have a bit of an attitude problem. Chill out.
The better teams wouldn't have had to travel if they had truly been the better teams in their own division and proven this by winning their division. Making seeding dependent on winning the division ostensibly makes winning the division clearly more important therefore obviously making division rivalry games more important therefore plainly making division games more exciting.
The team that wants to complain about missing out on the advantage of home field advantage doesn't have much room to complain because it was within that teams own power to win its division, and it failed to secure its own destiny (e.g. The Saints losing to the Panthers).
It's my opinion that things are better this way, and you didn't need to attack me like a slack-jawed jackanape because you have a different one.
