Is there any way to stop these calls offering to lower my interest rate?

I am on the do not call list. I have filed complaints. It's a different number that calls each time and I press 1 to speak to someone and when they come on I say quickly as possible to take me off the list. If you call back the number that shows up on the caller i.d. It's a disconnected Verision number. They also won't tell you the name of the company.
I don't even have debt that would qualify.
Frick it's annoying,

Stop answering.
I stopped and it went away/was very rare.
I accidently answered one day because I was expecting important phone calls. Now they won't stop again.
I usually take the time to talk to the person and chew them out though.

It's a scam, so none of the rest matters. They're operating an illegal scam, so they DGAF about the Do Not Call list.
For a while, I was hitting the button to talk to a person, blowing a high-pitched whistle into the phone and hanging up.
It slowed the calls down for a bit - FWIW. Still get the occasional call - spread out to all my phones.

Lower your interest rate with them

As I said - it's a scam. They're trying to call you in the hopes you're stupid enough to give them your credit card information.

Why do you answer? You also have the right as a phone owner to either press the volume button to stop the ringing noise or you simply can hit end to forward the call.

Don't hit anything. If you do it supposedly lets the computer know your number is legit and not another computer.

We bought one of those Panasonic DECT wireless phone systems that can block calls by caller ID.
Now whenever we get a new robo call - and it's several per week - it takes just a couple seconds to add the caller to the blocked list.
From then on you just hear a quick, partial ring when they call, and it's kind of satisfying to see "CALLER BLOCKED" on the phone display.

I meant I hit the volume button on my iPhone. it keeps ringing on their end, but quits ringing/vibrating on my end

Answer it and speak Spanish/broken English, that's what I do when I don't want to talk to a salesman

This is my cell they call. Unfortunately, my customer base is national and I get calls from a bunch of different area codes, some similar to these numbers. Thanks for the tips though. I will try to stop answering them. I hope they all die in a fire!

They won't go away. I usually press 1 to talk to someone and tell them I want to lick their sweaty a-hole.

I'm not going to lie - blowing the whistle is insanely satisfying.
