What would be an approximate cost to get a 220V outlet installed? Looking at purchasing a house, and it doesn't have a 220 in the laundry room. Thanks in advance.

The cost of the outlet, a 2-pole 30A breaker and the cable.
ETA: DIY

I can tell you what to do and what to buy.
People should understand electricity and not be scared of it.
If the distance from the inside panel to the utility/laundry room is short, you can easily do it for < $100; especially if you have the space available to add a breaker in the panel.

It could vary considerable depending on how far the location is from your breaker box, contruction of home, etc.
Watch a video on Youtube and do it yourself man, it's not all that difficult.

Ya need breaker space in the existing box, or ya can double up a couple of the existing 110 breakers. (to make space for the new 220 breaker)
220 breaker will take up 2 slots
