Downton Abbey Season 4 Thread (NO SEASON 4 SPOILERS)

Returns tonight! Anyone tuning in? I was so mad after the finale last year I didn't think I would watch it again but I decided I couldn't quit yet. If this season looks like it is headed downhill fast I will probably tune out. Thankfully I haven't had anything spoiled like I did last year.
ETA: No spoilers for Season 4 until each episode has aired in the US.

I've seen season 4 as well. I enjoyed it. Not so melodromatic as last year. It makes smaller steps to advancing the story. Enjoyable, but not fantastic.

Question (dumb probably), I just caught up on all the seasons via amazon prime. First time I will be watching live. Does PBS have commercials during the episode??

Same opinion. I thought the Christmas special was kind of underwhelming.

It won't blow you away or anything but I think it is a fun watch. If you enjoy period pieces you will like it a lot.
