How much does city park make from Christmas in the oaks?

Anyone have any idea?

Ended last night and will start preparing for 2014 in March, impressive prep time...

it probably costs a lot to put on, i wouldnt think they make too much money on it.

I deserved that one, but I had just read something on it earlier in the day so Celebration was in my head, not Christmas. In answer to that comment though, it's a travesty it was ever changed from Christmas...

It has to be their biggest source of revenue. I think a lot of the stuff they set up is donated by companies and private sponsors.

they have some pretty big events that i would think makes them more money. Crescent City Classic, Hogs 4 the Cause, Voodoo Fest

From what I have been told city park is the largest privately funded park in the country. A lot of the cost to put on the lights is donated.

CITO has to be the biggest. CCC just has a party there. Voodoo still has to pay the talent etc. Hogs for the Cause is relatively new and getting more well known but it's only a one day event. Combine admission + people buying food and drinks out there for a solid month and a half more or less.

It has to be the largest event fundraiser. I'm sure the rest of their money comes from private donations and city funding.
