How awesome is it that the defense is this good and this young at the same time? We should be in a position to be good here for a long time, which is huge because it allows us to spend money for Receivers and OL to become more balanced with an aging Drew. Think about this.. contributors in their 5th year or earlier:

Cam Jordan
Junior Galette
Akiem Hicks
Glenn Foster (R)
Ramon Humber
Malcom Jenkins
Keenan Lewis
Corey White
Kenny Vaccaro(R)
Victor Butler (people forget about him)
Patrick Robinson

Many are 2nd and 3rd year guys too. Hawthorne and Lofton are only in their 6th year. LB is the only spot where we could use some younger guys and we may need to add a corner for depth depending how P-Rob comes back and Whites development, but the future on D looks bright.

Unless we can sign a stud FA, there's no reason not to keep him. You can't have a pro bowler at every position.

Hopefully they can keep most of them. Gonna be hard to pay all those guys

A lot of those guys have a few years left on their contract and we'll probably be able to pay Drew less in his later years.

Yeah, I'm thinking of cam next year. He's gonna be due a big payday. THIS is the time to pay someone, not an unmotivated Charles Grant or aging Will Smith

Cam is in his prime and will be a force for the foreseeable future
