What are ya'lls opinions on this scope? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a 6.5x20x50. I just want a scope that is very clear, reliable, and draws in the most light.

The conquest is a good scope and they're pretty cheap. A friend has one on his xbolt 270wsm and I sighted it in for him and was really impressed. My brother also has one on his weatherby 7mm and I've taken it hunting a few times and had zero complaints. Almost bought one for my 300 blackout because my gf likes how wide the crosshairs are on them.

Why a 20X ? You hunting prairie dogs somewhere? 800 yd. + shots? If not, Leupold VX-III 3.5 X 10 X 50.

It's not needed most of the time, but I hunted Kentucky this year and could have used one. I want to have it just in case I get in a lease in Kentucky or somewhere, but mostly just want a good scope that draws in a lot of light in late evening and early morning situations. What is a good price on one of these?

Have one on my 7mm mag. I absolutely love it. Super clear, brings in a ton if light also.

I have 2 in 3 x 9 x 40. One of the best scopes in its price range.

I have a 3x9 50 on my .30-06, no complaints so far. Good price for a great scope.

Larger objective=more light. The 50mmm brings in plenty of light. You'll be able to shoot at night if the moon is bright enough. You can find the one I speak of for around $550. I have three of them. To say the Zeiss glass is twice as good (in price anyway), you're off your rocker. Hold them both up in the store, look through them and make your determination. Also, Leupold is made in the good 'ol USA (Orgeon).

I am really torn between the 3x12x56 or 4x14x50 for my 300 winny. Tough decision

Don't know why you would want a 20x? Have you tried to hold a rifle set on 20 still? Plus My only complaint with these are the cross hairs are so thick they blot out the target completely at 200 yards. 30 my tubes are no brighter than one inch tubes and are made for strength but add weight so?? .

3x12x50 , I have one of each and the 56 is bulky. If you are never going to still hunt or walk and is a target scope then the 56 is fine.

They're one of, if not, the best you can get for the money.

The 3-12x56 is ridiculously awesome.
