Walked from boat to boat in Delacroix today-(updated with vid pg. 2)

Made the trestles during the spring look like an empty stadium.
got a 4 man limit of Reds in 20 minutes from one spot in Oak River and left them biting to chase trout. Caught some in Oak River then moved to the bays and caught a few nice ones under corks with Lemonhead Matrix. Went back to a different spot in Oak River and started slinging them inn tightlining and Rucker rig. Couldn't fit anymore in the box and came home.

My boy got the hang of throwing a b aitcaster today. Made me Damn proud. Let him use my Curado E on a Abu Veritas rod. Only backslashes a little 2 times.

I believe so. It's an SCB (Simmon's Custom Boat) and they can add about anything you ask. This is not his first "go fast" boat, but his first SCB I believe.

I hate you. I guess I should have just sat in the parking lot like everyone else. I tried everywhere BUT Oak River until about 1:30 and by then I could barely navigate the river w/o hitting a boat.

Wish I woulda known you were out there. Would have put you on that insane redfish bite. Its been that way for several weeks now and always in that one spot.

Was that the boat with the blacked out mercury optimax 300 pro xs? If so he launched next to me. I left the dock probably 5 minutes before him and he caught up with me at pencil canal.

We caught 40 keepers from 7-9 Saturday morning in bayou bienvenue. Just as many throw backs as keepers. Bite turned off after that, didn't go looking for any reds

Where on Oak River were you?
ETA: I posted a thread on here Saturday when I got tired of not catching anything hoping you would see it.
