IMO, even if we win 2/3 of our conference games, very slim chances now, ya'll agree?

Depends on the 12-6 and how the rest of the SEC ends up to help RPI. I wouldn't call it slim, just much less than before.

This will be a huge black eye on the resume but all can be made up with a 12-6 or better SEC record.

Yep. I agree. Our resume was looking fairly solid but based on our opponents, we have very little room for losses to supposed sub-par teams. Oh well, if we don't beat Kentucky, we won't make the tourney. Was really optimistic.

As long as we don't shite the bed in SEC and go 12-6 or better we'll be in

Young team playing down to the competition. I think this team has a chance to win the west and has enough talent and depth to catch fire and be a dangerous team as an 8 or 9 seed. The SEC is down again with he exception of Florida and KU. No one else is really that good. We have plenty of talent that could explode at some point.

I'll say this mall, there is no margin for error left, and we may have to make up for this loss with a win against at Florida or Kentucky.

This was a bad, bad loss and totally unexpected. Contrarty to how we made them look, RI is not a good team.

There are no divisions anymore. And this team can still have a good year.

15-3 in conference play will do it.

That would definitely do it, but that ain't gonna happen.

That's why this loss cuts so deep. Leaves little if any margin for error the rest of the year.

We need to beat everyone we are supposed to or else beat Kentucky or Florida.

There's no way to sugar-coat it, this is a horrible loss. I believe this is the lowest RPI ranked team LSU has played this season. LSU doesn't have a great OOC win against an avg. OOC schedule. The good news until today was that they didn't have a "bad" loss either.

The SEC is better, but still not great this year again. LSU was probably always going to need at least 11 wins in the SEC to get into the tournament. Now that's likely a definite, and LSU cannot lose to any of the SEC bottom-dwellers. Also, this makes Tenn and Mizzou at home "must wins" IMO.

Yeah Alt, I think this loss might make that number 12 and probably an SEC Tourney win. This loss was terrible bad.

And even at that can't afford a loss to an SEC cellar dweller like the loss at home to South Carolina last year...or Auburn.

I think we'll be okay and end up as a bubble team, but we cannot lose to bad teams. LSU was in a funk today, and hopefully it was a wake-up call.

In a funk? They played like complete crap against a crap team. No excuse to lose this game. JJ needs to kick some teeth in.
