Im actually asking this question based on the mall it self and the offerings but I'm sure I'll get a demographics battle going

MOL is better. Newer, less closed in feel. The food court is far superior, and the stores are more upscale. The bathrooms are cleaner and bigger and parking is much better. I find the pretzels to be more tender and the merry-go-round is just so much fun!

For quite a while, MOL had the edge, but Lakeside has added to parking garages and started getting better scores and such, so it is getting closer.
I haven't been to MOL in forever, but it sounds like the clientele at Lakeside must be better.
My mall is Amazon.

Never been to MOL but traffic around Lakeside makes me want to eat glass rather than head there.

From a real estate / sales standpoint Lakeside blows Mall of LA away. Lakeside is one of the most powerful retail locations in the Southeast.
