People who don't re-rack their weights at the gym

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with these people? Typically it doesn't take long to pick up after them but every now and then it's really bad. It's common courtesy to pick up after yourself. I can understand leaving 45 lbs weights on a bench cause most people use that but I'm talking about people who leave like 3 plates on each side for some normal person to re-rack. Does this bug anyone else?

Oh and I'm small, weak, and a little flabby so this isn't a subtle brag about working out.

gym people are self absorbed, that's why they are at the gym....why would you expect any different?

I hate when people leave dumbells off the rack and across the gym or when a bar with 6 plates on it is just left on the ground.

I'm looking out for your best interest.

If you can't rep the 315 you need to re-rack my weights anyways to help yourself out until you are there.

You're welcome

I'm doing this intentionally right now to discourage all the people who haven't given up on their New Year's resolutions yet.

That doesn't bother me as much as the people who grab dumb bells and leave them all over the gym. I have to go on a journey to find the weights in the morning and yesterday they had a medicine ball on the elliptical machine when I walked in.... wtf

The weekends are the worse too! Usually half the dumb bells are off the rack. The gym finally made labels where each dumb bell goes and it has helped out a great deal.

In my experience, I also noticed that 9/10 times the weight on the bar isn't small.

Yeah it's the definition of selfish. One time I was waiting for the leg press and the meathead that used it before me walks away and starts doing other stuff and leaves 8 forty five lb plates on each side. fricking douche

Good point. My experience is basically that too.

My gym doesn't mark the dumbbell slots and they have some duplicate pairs thrown in there so it is impossible to keep them straight even if you want to.

I had a 60 year old man today doing supersets of crazy exercises with the 10 lb Dumbbells (the completely plastic covered ones) so close to the dumbbell racks in front of the 25-35 lb Dumbbells. Annoying as hell. I think leaving one plate on the bench and 2 plates on the leg press is acceptable, but otherwise, rack your weights. Also saw a lady doing assisted pull-ups with around 110 lbs of assistance (probably about 20 lbs less than her body weight). Just laugh it off and realize they won't be there in two weeks.

Imagine being a chick and having to take off 6 45 lb plates because the juice monkey before me couldn't be bothered to do it.

What's worse is when they see you taking all their weights off and don't even try to help. Chivalry is so fricking dead at the gym.

The douchebags who leave the dumb bells all over are worse. I have to walk all the way across the gym and back sometimes to find the right weights.
