Has Louisville put many DBs in the NFL?

Strong is a great defensive minded coach. I think this should be a concern for us. We don't know how his hire will impact Adams. It's too early to know but it can have an impact on his recruitment. We'll just have to wait and see.

Great is a little strong. Louisville was always known for their offense under him. I don't remember hearing about a vaunted defense and they played a high school schedule.

I do remember an LSU alum that was a doctor I worked with wanting Strong to replace Saban at LSU. Not discrediting him as a coach, just saying I don't remember any great UL defenses.

Id say small chance, but not likely....
Adams has formed a bunch of relationships already

Suprisingly UL has.... who am I kidding, y'all won't fall for that...

They have 1 DB currently in the NFL, William Gay (Chargers)

his primary recruiter is the Co-Offensive Coordinator, WR Coach, and Co-Recruiting Coordinator at UT.

If I had to guess, his job is ok for now.

But Jamal visited UT in Nov. It wasn't long after that communication with UF and then LSU heated up. To me that's telling. To add to that, it was only a few weeks later he officially eliminated UT. I think we're more than safe from UT, even with Strong. Chavis and Raymond reeled him in pretty "strongly".

Strong fielded great defenses at UF and S. Carolina before he got to Louisville. Let's not forget that.

someone said Louisville was known for the offense which is true, however they are 2nd in the entire NCAA in points allowed.. An average of 12 with 5 games of giving up a td or less..

however it is so late and texas is still a couple of years away regardless.
