Choctaw, go read the in game thread on the SEC Rant, about page 41. Mizzou fans sound just like LSU fans during games. JJ references galore over there with Pinkle still playing Franklin.

Retards. You get retards here on both sides of every single GD argument and it blows sometimes. Every now and then, we get lucky and have a decent thread where people can actually discuss a topic that's not filled with flames from both sides. Because when the flames come, it makes the people who would normally be good posters flame back.
It's why the baseball mega thread is so amazing. Sure, we can talk baseball in there at any time without having to make a new thread. But it's real appeal is that we can talk about sports. Just talk. Simple as that. Exactly what this forum was for.

Others may complain, but they don't have a large portion of their fan base that want to get rid of such a successful coach or think of him as an idiot and are just so negative about the team in general. Not even close. Talk to my friends in Nebraska and they think it's crazy. We created such a negative atmosphere that surrounds the program that it's a wonder we get any recruits at all. Who the hell would want to come play here with this fan base. Kind of weird in that Louisiana has this reputation for let the good time roll, etc. but in reality are such negative people. At least the team seems to ignore it and have created their own cool upbeat personality vibe and don't seem to give a shite about the fan base.

actually they are kind of happy with him right now after the bowl victory. They can't understand that with the success LSU has had how anyone could be unhappy with the coach. You wouldn't see anywhere near the negativity in their fan base that we have in ours.

You don't get out much do you? Every fan base is just like LSU's fan base. We all have the good and the bad side of fans with some extremes to both ends. Don't try to fool yourself by thinking we are unique or special in any way.
You want extreme? How about the Bama fan who shot another Bama fan because they didn't take the Auburn loss serious enough. Or the Bama fan who poisoned the Auburn tree. These people are all over, we just see our own more because after all this is the "Tiger Rant".

I fully admit part of the problem with Miles is that he's been here for 9 years. That's not a bad thing, but we have long memories on 9 years of losses (which really aren't a lot of them) and we tend to fear it happening again.

I talk to people from other states and don't see as much negativity as surrounds our fan base but it is true that others don't give a forum for them like the Rant. They delete the idiots from posting. And as far as those Bama fans, they weren't mad at their program they were mad a Auburns.
