2014 Polo Shirts
Posted by GoldenBoy on 1/3/14 at 9:06 pm05
What brand polo shirts do y'all like these days?
I'm looking for shirts with quality that lasts. I'm getting tired of shirts with collars that go to shite after a few washes.
I know about BB but those run way too big for me.

I've always liked J Crew Polos, They last a very long time and the collar never flips up.
Also, call me crazy but I think IZOD has the best Polo Shirts. You can was them a million times and they never shrink, fade or the collar never flips up, Plus they are cheap as hell

The collars go bad on any shirt if you don't treat it properly. I wash in cold water, lightly dry, then shape and finish hang drying with the collar popped. I like Brooks Brothers, Tommy Bahama and Nike dri-fit but I am pushing 50 so you won't want to wear that shite.

Yes, and use fabric softener and Febreeze. I personally like Downy and a fabric sheet. Medium heat and hang it as soon as you get it out of the dryer. I prefer a padded hanger.

I have a duckhead that I bought in 94 that I still wear. Thats when duckhead made good clothes.
I also have a few Hilfigers and Polos from the early 2000s that I still wear.

The Sothern Tide skipjack polo's are nice fits and great material. I also really like the Perlis crawfish polo's that I bought.

Roundtree and Yorke slim fit. I prefer shirts without logos nowadays

Under Armour
Wash in cold water, dry on low heat (no fabric softener, no ironing). Been wearing them for 10 years and haven't had one wear out yet.

Good call on Perlis. I like their quality and the crawfish logo is a nice touch.
