Has any Tigers ever returned to talk to the guys about the pitfalls of leaving early. Tell what it's like to enter and be placed on a practice team, never knowing when they're going to be kicked out the door. Miles can't seem to convince them. Maybe an unemployed Tiger could get them to stay.

You can't tell me that they're not many players that wish he had stayed an extra year. Trai Turner needs a phone call today.

You know if you just "hang around" for a couple years or so you could earn close to a million dollars. That info could cause a "Stay in School seminar " to go horribly wrong.

For every player who wished he stayed, there are probably 5 who are happy they left early and another 5 who wish they HAD left early. Everyone is trying to do what's best for himself and his family, as would you if you were given a job opportunity from a small company making 60k to a large company making 400k taking into account risk factors for both. I don't fault them for this. LSU and others will have to adjust, work harder at getting players ready sooner. Would it have made sense three years ago? Probably not. Does it make sense now? Probably so.

I don't think that would be effective at all, at this point I think if you offered an LSU junior Trev Faulk's NFL career he'd take it in a heartbeat.
