I know the whole boycott Dicks thing over there post-sandyhook actions but...

I went in there because my wife is shopping next door. They have no saltwater tackle. No matrix shad, one or two deadly Dudley's, no real selection of jigheads. They have 3 aisles of plastic worms though. Their "reel center" consists if about 10 reels, half of which are broken. They don't sell rain hear other than some $100 north face rain jackets and $50 dicks brand thing with the consistency of cellophane. They got a rack of st croix and a rack of g loomis rods, about 10 each.

And they don't sell ammo.

How is this place in business?

I hear they are mostly known for their bicycles anyways. But, yeah, I know what you mean.

Doesn't take much in the NOLA area.

Absolutely no duck hunting gear.

Severely disappointed every time I go in there.

Dicks is kind of like a sporting goods store but not really.

I am not in the market for women's athletic support undergarments at the moment.

Which DD makes $ on, if people want to buy that stuff from a store that doesn't sell duck crap, then why should Willie complain?

The only thing Dicks is good for is when the GF goes shopping at the Ultra next door

They can keep their shite. I'll never shop there again after that stunt they pulled last year.

I used to be a manager for the Lodge department of one of the Austin stores and even I can tell you that Dick's is not a great store for outdoor gear.

Our department was focused on selling guns and ammo and that's it. If we sold fishing gear and outerwear that was great but the store manager really didn't give a shite unless it was a gun sale.
