New format. They announced they were going to change on New Year's Day. Must have JUST changed because they were playing Bruno Mars at 11:30 whilst I ate my lunch.

It's saying at 9:23 Monday it will go live. I hope it's not another pop station

Didn't know that either wtf is going on with the radio this year. No more Ragin Cajun no more new rock. Anyone know if any other stations are changing to a 90's to current rock station?

92.3 said this? On air? Kinda weird to wait until today to do it, then.

It's fricking horrible. They are moving to 1600 kleb. I've heard the signal won't even reach thibodaux or Houma. This is just disappointing because I could catch 100.3 all the way as far as mandeville.

I honestly never heard them say anything about a format change and I listen to that station every afternoon on the way home.

no

All 92.3 did was play a bunch of late 90's/early00's stuff anyway. Hardly any actual new rock was played on that station.

It sucks. We really need another station like 106.7 The End. They played some decent music from the late 90's till 2005. Other than Walton and Johnson in the morning you are stuck with 70's, talk radio or pop Country

Assuming that the mixed up genres is a clue, it might be switching to some sort of "Jack" style format.

What the f. 92.3 is my go to station and the only alternative/ rock station in the city. And 100.3 is one of four stations that has actual music in the mornings
