Just wanted to point out the last TO called by Miles in the bowl game. If not called Iowa would have had it near midfield with like 8 tics left.

Only pointing it out because of his past timeouts called.

We started kneeling the ball knowing we'd have to give the ball back.

I was fine with the kneeling because of just how little time was going to be left when we punted back.

For $4M+/yr, I'd hope that wouldn't be the standard.

Did the coaches lose track of what down it was in that situation?

I was under the impression that the QB lost track.

I would assume so. I guess the timeout after second down instead of first confused someone. Or they were expecting Jennings to be the one to call the timeout when the playclock reached 1.

Biggest question I have is what the hell was Jennings going to run there? Surely the coaches didn't call in a play knowing that we weren't actually going to run one.

This. Miles saved Jennings' arse. But you'll never hear a peep out of the negative idiots on here about it.

If we had knelt on the ball at the 50 with a timeout remaining and not called to punt the ball you guys could of had my season tickets, RV parking pass etc cuz I would have quit going to the games

Like Miles as a coach but seriously think I would do a better job in the clock management department. Plus I would do it for less than $1000 per game.

Didn't he call a TO to prevent a green and excited young QB from making a big mistake?

If Jennings didn't know better than to not snap the ball there he doesn't deserve a scholarship.

A true freshman making his first career start against a very good defense has never screwed up in any way ever. Pull his scholly.

Dipshit.

Written by a person who has never been in a pressure position in his totally worthless life.

Yeah, because if he were paid $2M+/yr we would not care so much.

Les Miles has lost control of his true freshman quarterback's lack of experience.
