It doesn't make any sense that this kid chose Florida over LSU.

The Gator roster is loaded with young players. He will lucky to start before his Jr. year.

95 Alex McCalister DL 6' 6" 238 RFR SQ Clemmons, N.C./West Forsyth
96 Sterling Stanley DL 5' 11" 172 FR HS West Palm Beach/Dwyer
57 Caleb Brantley DL 6' 2" 313 FR HS Crescent City/Crescent City
44 Leon Orr DL 6' 5" 302 RJR 2L New Port Richey/Gulf
4 Damien Jacobs DL 6' 3" 300 SR 1L Gibson, La./H.L. Boureois/East Miss. C.C.
57 Dakota Wilson DL 5' 11" 260 RSO SQ Bradenton/Braden River
99 Jay-nard Bostwick DL 6' 3" 305 FR HS Port Saint Lucie/West Centennial
2 Dominique Easley DL 6' 2" 285 SR 3L Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis
55 Darious Cummings DL 6' 1" 305 JR JC Titusville/Astronaut/Florida State/East Mississippi
94 Bryan Cox, Jr. DL 6' 3" 260 RFR SQ Ft. Lauderdale/St. Thomas Aquinas
17 Jordan Sherit DL 6' 4" 247 FR HS Tampa/Hillsborough
91 Joey Ivie DL 6' 3" 270 FR HS Dade City/Pasco
45 Antonio Riles DL 6' 4" 287 FR HS Lawrenceville, Ga./Archer
90 Jonathan Bullard DL 6' 3" 270 SO 1L Shelby, N.C./Crest Senior

He would have a chance to start at LSU next year!

Why would you chose Muschamp over Chavis as a coach to get you to the next level.... The NFL!

I lived in Florida for 8 years, the fans there will not put up with another subpar season. If Muschamp can't win next year he will be fired!

Very bad decision by this young man and who ever is despensing advice to him...

He's the only recruit we should be trying to flip.

Some on this board disagree, but there's no harm in trying.

Can we get a fricking Board about this kid going to UF? Maybe we could title it the I Don't Get It board. So many damn threads about it. I get it, you're upset. We all are. But for the love of god, please find one of the many other threads that's been started to post your crying in. Or just don't post and go watch yourself cry in the mirror.

Scott: Mike, what happened at Edna Karr? That is the shocking that both, especially Gerald Willis, would turn down LSU to go out of state?

but Willis is a shocker. And it is at a position that is so hard to find, defensive end. He reminded me so much of Tyson Jackson when he came out of high school. Great length, quick off the snap and he had really good pass rush potential. And he goes to Florida where the coach is really on the hot seat and I don't see how he can change that team around in a year. Willis is the real shocker of the day. Losing an out of state young man, like Tony Brown, is one thing, but losing the instate kids, especially in the Southern part of the state is shocking.

To play next year in the SEC Willis will have to play DE
His future position is probably DT which he will have to grow into because he does not have the size to play there now in the SEC

He listened to his brother. You know, the guy that's still spitting Supredome turf rubber out of his mouth from last night.

Willis was by far the biggest shock of the day. I think it's too late to flip him since he is an EE and seems confident in his choice. We should focus on flipping valentine from Miami, get Speaks from MS and Jackson from CA. If we do that and sign Dupre this is still a very special class

Mike Detellier seems to think he is a DE...
