I expect Jacory to get a big bump. Not sure he isn't the best TE in the country after his showing all week

I know everyone will be gun shy after today, but LSU is in a great position for Dupre.

Watch Speaks, Ole Miss fans are not happy at all about us preparing to offer him and many say he is the best prospect in the state.

God knows what KY is doing, but I want him in this class pretty badly. The two OTs will likely be redshirted but we certainly need the depth.

Dupre is very important. I was having the conversation earlier this evening that I have no idea who is our second starting WR going into next year -- that is scary. Quinn is super polished but he is still coming straight out of HS. If Dupre can't see the field in year one at LSU, then he isn't as good as everyone is saying.

Add KY to the roster and I am feeling pretty awesome about our LBing crew for the next 2-3 years. I love the way that Kwon plays and Debo is going to blossom next year, IMO. Add in CG and KY from this class with Lamar Louis in a complimentary role and I like what we have cooking at that position.

I'll go check out Speaks now.

bro. I'm not sure his best bet is TE anymore. kid was SMOOTH on that course today.

you dont have to be a burner to be a very successful WR in the SEC.

Man we need D linemen bad

Sonny says Young is likely gone.
Young said in a recent interview he may not OV to lsu. Isn't that usually a good sign for the home team?

I'm getting giddy with excitement while thinking of watching a Cam Cameron offense with Washington and Desean Smith abusing big linebackers. Cam likes TEs in the passing game and I don't think he's fully implanted his whole offense yet considering Mett and co. were used to Studs pedestrian plays.

I think KY may be enjoying the process, too. Not saying that he isnt considering other schools, but you have to think that we really make him a priority moving forward

I went and watched some film on a couple of the guys you called out RAT. Here are my takes:

Valentine - Super quick off the ball and has good size to him. However, he plays way too high and fundamentally doesn't have what it takes to start as a true freshman. Love how he fires off the snap but he is just manhandling opponents without needing the technical side. As you know, this won't cut it at the next level.

Lorenzo Carter - Looks like a freak. I only needed to watch a couple of plays to see that he is on another level.

Breeland Speaks - Not completely sold on him. I am having a hard time telling on film if he is just overpowering HS OL or if he is an elite athlete in a big body. He takes long strides and 'lumbers' a little bit. I wonder what his side-to-side agility is like. I'm not saying he is a "no" in my book, but I can see why we would have wanted to slow play him while waiting on Willis.

Thoughts? Am I full of shite and lost my mojo?

Sounds about right, Willis was a guy that could come in and play right away IMO, but these guys will need some work. You can't argue with Speaks production, 136 tackles from the line is pretty impressive

Carter Would certainly ease the sting, but I think that is going to be a tough pull. I hope there is some more smoke from Miami regarding Golden to Penn St, I want a shot at Chad Thomas, too.

He read all ten of Quid Quo Pro's posts that say the same thing, every DE ever should come to LSU. Read all of them enough, and anything is possible.

Didn't realize he had 136 tackles...that's ridiculous production.

In short, we are going to need our RS FR (Bain and Gilmore specifically) to be ready to ball out next year or we will struggle up the middle.

P.S. Derrick Henry for Bama looks like a freak in the Sugar Bowl.
