as an iowa fan, I think this is crap. We lost b.c we couldn't do anything on offense.

Iowa will never be able to get the elite recruits that other states do. Its a small population state, mostly rural, that is getting grey. All the young people are leaving.
if you were a 18 year old from texas or FL, would you want to move to iowa city? It only has the university there. Its really cold. Yes, chicago isn't too far away but its still a hike. And Des Moines while a really nice smaller sized city just isn't a draw.
Plus we don't have a storied football history like Nebraska does.
Don't get me wrong, I love Iowa but it will never be an elite fb school simply due to location and demographics

Let's see, last year he was in High School, it was raining, it was a Bowl game on New Years Day, probably something he grew up wanting to be in, and oh yeah, Iowa who we owed something and then there is the LSU Fan Base - He was better than your eval and he beat your arse

First start he will get better.
But reading that makes me think they are smarter than they seem for the most part because only a few people seem to think they should have won
