On the year, he had 203 carries, for 1,401 yards, 6.9 YPC, and 16 TDs

The 1,401 yards he gained on the ground this year was the 2nd best in LSU history

His average of 6.9 YPC is easily the best in LSU history for RBs with at least 200 attempts. Kevin Faulk had the previous record with 5.585 YPC.

His 16 Rushing TDs were the 4th best in LSU history

Today marked the 7th 100 rushing game he has had this year, which is tied for the most in LSU history

Not bad for a back who only had 6 carries after the first 2 games this season

Also, the 216 yards he gained today was the 7th best single game total in LSU history

Best RB in the SEC this year. Yes, better than Tre Mason.

Will be the best NFL back from LSU since Charles Alexander I think.

I think there have been a few LSU backs in the NFL that were much better than Charles Alexander.

Where are those idiots like Dukke V who were dissing him talking about he doesn't run hard or that he shouldn't be drafted before the third round? He dominated this year despite being taking out games for quarters at a time losing what little groove he got into.

It's crazy to think he put up those numbers in a balanced offense after missing 2 games and somewhat slowing down towards the end of the season when Magee was in a zone.

I think we are all gonna look back at this season and think about what could've been.

Highly doubt it. Running backs aren't nearly as valuable. I think 3-4 years ago he would be a no brainer 1st.

I admit I'm probably biased but I have not seen another college back this season with a better combination of size, speed, quick feet, and vision. I know other guys had more yardage and deserve recognition also but 6.9 ypc in a pro-style offense in the SEC is outstanding.
