dont know what to believe anymore on UT search

first it was reported that new AD patterson is meeting with charlie strong yesterday, then it was shot down
then today kurt bohls from austin statesman said that they met in kentucky yesterday for 4 hours and bohls just tweeted that his sources on the staff are saying that strong has already reached out to them and is talking.
then someone just said bobby burton(dont know who that is) said that strong hasnt had permission to interview yet and no interview has taken place
WTF?? why would UT give that much permission to the first guy they've interviewed? i would think they would wait until after baylors game or FSU to speak with Briles.

The Courier Journal in Louisville left messages for Strong yesterday evening and they have yet to be returned. Take that for what it is worth. I have no clue what is going on with Strong.

bad move for texas, Briles is a much better coach than Strong and much better ties to Texas high schools

i read that they will interview briles and dantonio soon and that most of their boosters want briles

Dantonio just agree to an extension with MSU today so I doubt he interviews

if he doesnt have a buyout then it won't matter and even if he does ut might buy it out if he agrees to come and they want him

true, but you're assuming Briles wants the job. Maybe they go with Strong because Briles isn't interested.

dude, have you not heard Briles veiled comments the last few days? He's obviously trying to parlay this season into a better gig whether it be the NFL or UTx. I'll be really surprised if he's at Baylor next year.
