Is Jennings not a dual threat QB? Serious.

Question. Seems like mobility could have been a real weapon in these conditions. Not in evidence today

Why give SEC opponents something to work on in off season? Rely on running game, short passes. Dial up some full pass plays and see how kid reacts to get his feet wet. Well done

He was unimpressive today. I was hoping to see some mobility but he didn't show it.

I didn't see that at all. His pocket awareness was not good. Reminds me of JJ - not an accurate passer and doesn't recognize when he should take off.

I was waiting for a QB draw all day. The middle was open on occasion

Yea it definitely was shades of jefferson today...minus the arm strength

No, he was worse than JJ today. Hopefully he will develop but his pocket awareness was not good.

Looking forward to his development, this start was ideal for him tbh (head start )

I think considering who was backing him up, we kept it safe.

And stop with the JJ shite. Jennings will get better.

What does Jennings' inability to scramble or adjust in the pocket have to do with the poster's football resume versus Miles and Cameron?

It's not like they were running the option all day, which is probably a good thing and lends credence to your point.

But no getting around that Jennings looked slow footed and lost all day. Good thing he had a month to prepare and another several months to try to get better for next year.

Me too.

Just once at least.

There is not a QB on the roster, and I'll even include OBJ, along w soon to be Brandon Harris down in Orlando, that couldn't have done what we asked from the QB position today, and done it better than AJ did, more than likely.

I thought the QB position was locked down going into spring before this game was played.

Not anymore.

clm seems to have not wanted to open jennings up to many hits. rolled him out once, and it happened to be directly into a blitz. otherwise, i do not know why more roll outs were not called. jennings showed to have very little pocket awareness....so i would think you need to work in a few roll outs.

could have gone back to the option play that was thrown incomplete to neighbors. at least use the threat of jennings running.

one year ago he was in hs. he will be fine. this experience will be huge for him moving forward.

He looked like a QB that was indecisive in his decision making to throw it and make a mistake but he also didn't just throw it up for grabs when he was about to get sacked or try to force something...
