Gun safe/cabinet recommendation?

I'm looking for a reasonably priced safe or well-constructed cabinet for storing rifles/pistols & ammo. However, I'm in an apartment right now so I'm not looking for a premium, fire-resistant heavy safe at the moment, just something that offers good storage. I currently have 4 rifles and 3 pistols, but would like something with a little extra room for new additions.
Thoughts?

I've actually been looking at a few of their models as well. Just seeing what other options are out there.

I'm glad you said this...I never thought about using a cheap fire rated cabinet style
(less security) for just ammo...
now I can go back to looking at 40+ gun safes for the guns and not have to worry about how much room my ammo will take up...my only issue is I have a ton of long guns...that is...if I ever find them after that tragic boating accident

That's what I want it for, a lot of my safe is ammo space right now

When I lived in an apartment I was looking into medical cabinets. They are secure as frick but offer little fire protection. I also did not keep all my guns in my apartment so the fire loss would have been much less.
But for the price and weight, they are a great deal.

Where would you find them?

The furthest i ever got was researching them online. However, if you know any doctors, have them tell you anytime an office closes or a hospital remodels. I bet they threw away hundreds of good cabinets while moving Earl K.

I also forgot that you're OT rich. Just Google some and buy one. They are up there in price though.

Thats where I got mine. They delivered it and bolted it to the floor while I was at work (Mrs. ICS was home). The safe rocks back and forward like they busted one or two of the concrete anchors and its not even on the wall (one corner is an inch further out than the other). Its noticeable to the naked eye and a tape measure just shows how bad it is.
I have not called them yet to see what they are going to do to correct these issues but this is my experience with them so far.

I have a Stack On 14-gun cabinet in my apartment. You definitely want to buy bigger or you won't have room to get them in and out easily. I have 6 long guns and 2 pistols in magnetic holders attached to the door. I installed a VCI pack, an electronic desiccant, and ran thin rubber weather stripping around the door edge. I bolted mine to the concrete, through the carpet, with four 3" concrete anchors. Shimmed it about 1/8" high in the back so the door will open out of the way without having to hold it.
That plastic shelf didn't like supporting several hundred rounds of 5.56, .30-06 and .308 though.
