The "reporters" were actually in Cairo

Then the contributors must have been the clean up maids at the compound.

You know what Decatur. I'm done arguing whether or not the video had anything to do with the attack. I still don't think it did but maybe I'm giving the Islamic world too much credit. If it was in fact inspired by the video, and if dozens of violent protests by tens of thousands of Muslims across the region were caused by a YouTube video, then you are making the case that the Muslim religion is violent at it's core and the "moderates are the outliers. Not the other way around.

Agreed. If the Muslim world really is that sensitive about their religion, and are willing to result to violence over a stupid, screwball comedy, then they are nothing but savages and should be treated like savages, 19th Century Native American style.

There are just as many or more who condemn the violence

Grouping all Muslims together as one does not work

The only ones who do are dictators who rule with an iron fist. So perhaps America should be installing military dictatorships across the region. Apparently that's the type of government they deserve.

i get this argument, but since this group does an absolutely shitty job at isolating and exiling the extremists, i'm done defending them. if you want the benefit of condemning the violence, do more than just pay lip service

Yeah it does. Just turn the whole region into a glass factory and let God or Allah or Shiva or whoever they report to sort them out.

It's my belief that this statement is indicative of exactly what Decatur was trying to get you to do - concede that there might be a slight possibility that the video contributed to the Benghazi attacks. We know for a fact that it did not, and making what seems like an innocent "concession" on this point, even for the sake of argument, opens up the crack that the NYT set out to create. Based on prior posts, I don't believe that is your intent at all. I think the statement was well-intentioned to promote debate, but the video as a catalyst for Benghazi is a premise that is dead, buried and mourned only by the pro-Administration camp and others who are simply poorly informed on the topic.

Germans weren't afforded the same courtesy from 1939-1945. They were all Nazis when it came time to decide who was a target and who wasn't.

You still haven't answered this question.

Which lie told by the White House is true?

Benghazi was a spontaneous protest?
Benghazi was a terrorist attack?

Both were told by Obama. Which lie are you promoting?

Who? I have not seen widespread condemnation about the Benghazi attacks. Where are these "widespread" condemnations?
