He and his Dad were at a bar in the old mall one night in Huntsville. Nobody and I mean 0 people were there. I took some college courses that annexed there so I’d sometimes have a beer before. Eddie was shredding something fierce and I was so entertained by the two. Well, no school for me that night.

My father in law used to have Billy Joe and Eddy play at his company picnics at his ranch before they had any sort of fame.
I wasn’t around yet for any of those, but he did play out there several times after I was in the picture, and we went to see him anytime he was playing close.
Always a good time.
