Why not start the kid and give him an opportunity to step up and prove he can play...I mean what are we getting out of starting Roberts or morrow...however we won so I'll shut up

I'd even like to see Tyreke start at the 2;him and AD been playing good together .. the more minutes together the better

I dunno it don't really matter I'm bullshittin wasting time on a day off, fact of the matter this team is pretty deep and thier are alot of combinations we can put on the court based on our matchup...this team is yet to reach thier peak..however we are lacking a big on the defensive end, I think aiinca needs more minutes, he looked good against Denver

I agree. At least Morrow gives the threat of hitting the 3 but his defense is atrocious. Roberts has no real value on the floor at this point. His play lately has made that really clear.

Agree with this as well. Rivers has shown some signs of improvement this year and needs minutes.

I said this in the Tyreke thread the other day, and I'll say it here after paying attention to it last night.

Tyreke comes in at the 2 1/2 minute mark in the 1st quarter.

Tyreke comes in at the 6 minute mark in the 3rd.

Already, the maximum amount of minutes Evans could have played last night was 32.5. That is assuming that you have him on the floor for 14+ minute stretches at a time.

Why would you limit arguably your 2nd or 3rd best player to those restrictions? It doesn't make sense.

Yeah I feel like we've been getting off to decent starts , but start Tyreke and we could really jump up on teams.

This is true. People complain about the 2nd Unit. Well that could be remedied also by just leaving Reke or Jrue on the floor w/ the 2nd unit. Jrue/Reke/AD/Ryno are all under 25. They should be able to physically handle 35+ mins a piece. Heck our whole team is young. I really don't see the need to consistently play 10+ guys. AFA gives us added flexibility being able to play the 3 or the 4 (actually AFA is the best replacement for AD IMO when AD is off the floor).

Also maybe if they played more mins at the start then we could sustain our big leads (seems like we jump out to 10-15 pt leads every game) allowing us to rest them at the end.

I've been thinking the same thing. Roberts has been playing pretty crappy this season and we all know Morrow's shooting has been off as of late. We didn't draft Rivers in the first round to just ride the pine. Let him play, Monty.

I guess I'm the only one who hasn't seen the improvement from Rivers. Can't shoot and still can't finish at the rim. Hopefully Gordon's back soon and Roberts/Morrow/Rivers are back to limited minutes.
