Maybe not revealed this season, but he faked it somehow

Sherlock needs his nemesis for these stories to keep going on

Just found a prequel mini-sode on youtube.

And I agree. Moriarty is definitely alive.

Spoiler...but in the book, he died.

And Sherlock on the TV show must be incredibly stupid if he was 2 feet away from a dude that faked put a gun in his mouth and blew his head off, and he fell for it.

Question is... how did Sherlock survive?

Book, or tv show?

TV - Obviously had a corpse to look like him and he jumped into that truck that left as soon as the 'body' hit the pavement.

Yeah, i don't know how you get a viewer to believe that Moriarty's death was faked.

That's sort of what I'm thinking. They threw the body from the truck onto the pavement and sherlock landed in the truck and the truck drove off. Sherlock had one of his homeless friends knock Watson down to disorient him. Or something like that.

Why does Sherlock air on PBS in the US and not on BBC America? Is it considered "High-brow" TV or something like that?

Anyways, FYI:

“The Empty Hearse” – Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 10pm on MASTERPIECE

“The Sign of Three” – Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 10pm on MASTERPIECE

“His Last Vow” – Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 10pm on MASTERPIECE

Dude, no offense, but that was a living Moriarty.

That was more like a Max Headroom Moriarty. (for you 80's guys like me)

That very last clip of him was just for the fans. In the show, the tvs were all broadcasting a Max Headroom animated face of him sayin' Do you miss me, or whatever it was.

My vote is either some unknown other member of his syndicate, yet to be introduced, or...the Woman is behind it and will make a return next season.

If they try to somehow say that Moriarty is alive, after blowing his head off right in front of Sherlock...I'll be pissed. That's insulting.
And, I love the character, and the actor. Wish they wouldn't have killed him off so soon, but, still..don't try to go the American Horror Story Season 3 route of nobody dies.

Yeah i realize its probably some kind of misdirection, but still they want us to think he might be alive. I'll still claim the win, much like Auburn and their many NCs.

Except Moffatt has already stated that Moriarty is dead, and Moffatt isn't one of the Lost dumbasses.

I'm sorry. I haven't made it through the current season yet. I thought this was something that happened last night.
