Back at it in Carthage, where the deer and the antelope don't roam. Hopefully they all stayed in bed yesterday like we should have done. Hunting a different food plot since #1 son won't be back until afternoon.

46 degrees and drippy. Yuck. Heard some squealers flying by, maybe I should switch to duck hunting.

Good luck! I believe this is the week in our area for the rut. BTW - we found his buck last night - posted pic in IST thread for yesterday late last night. You were correct - it was cooling off when you posted. Heading to church shortly so will check back after.

No a damn thing Cro. I think the rain had them bedded down all day. My buddy shot a doe at 7:00 this morning. He didn't even get in his stand. Walked up to get in and there she was. Hope to see something with 4 legs besides squirrels.

You having any luck? I still think we are a week away from full on rut but could kick in at any time.

Spike just cruised through heading to the cotton. I stopped him with a grunt and a rack popped up in the privet. Hoping to let this 308 sing here shortly.

Neither responded to the estrus blast.
