Did you have to shave in HS?

Brought our kiddos to a local football (Houston area) game a few weeks back and so many of the male students had beards and/or mustaches. I graduated in 1994 and I don't remember anyone shaving on a regular basis.

I shaved about 3 times a week by my senior year. Started at about twice a week as a freshman. I didn't grow that much of a beard as a freshman, but I grew out a pretty wicked trash stache.

Yes. It got so bad that my football coach would make me shave in the mornings and I'd get written up in 8th hour for stubble. Dude was a dick.

I could grow a full beard at 16. I had one every summer in HS and during my freshman year at LSU. It was out of my system after that, and I've shaved daily ever since.
But not during the school year in HS. Strictly forbidden.

I had to shave probably twice a week in high school. And if we weren't clean shaven the principal made us shave at the school, with a single bladed disposable razor with no shaving cream and in a sink with no hot water.
I still hate that woman.

yes, all four years.
any facial hair was against the rules fwiw. i never saw the point in that, especially at a public school.

not really. maybe a little junior/senior year to avoid looking like a complete idiot but it wasnt a full shave or anything.
i went through puberty pretty late. it kinda sucked for sports and shite, but wasnt that bad really.

I had some sweet sideburns my junior year. The assistant principal bitched at me once but I didn't care.
