I did the chef's table @ Nino's again. It was even better than last time.

There's an abundance of Gorgonzola because my wife specifically requested it be included.

Yeah...it fricking rocked. Be jealous.

I've only eaten there for lunch. I need to go at might. It's one if my parents' favorites. I think it's an underrated hidden jewel.

Mollydooker is an Ausie vintner, would like to know which varietal it was.

Looks great... I wish more people would explore Nino's.

I'm all for port wines as dessert.

Glad to see they're using local duck.

Yes it is, it's usually one of my first BR suggestions to people.

The menu isn't great. You rarely see a soup and salad on a chef's table.

It's not a horrible value, $85 with wine pairings is pretty solid.

Nino's is the only place in BR that I didn't catch while in school.

I've had that grilled heart of romaine item off the menu before (was slightly different) and it's worthy of inclusion. Very flavorful and unique, at least to me.

The soup seems like a lazy choice.

That's a complete rip off for $85. I know I sound like a food snob or whatever but seriously folks that uninspired tasting menu for $85 is a complete joke. That's more than a 6 course at my restaurant and I'm not trying brag but our food is way more creative and I'm almost certain much better. And if anyone wants to call me out just go buy our cookbook or check us out on the cover of food and wine magazine or the James beard nominations.

I eat there both lunch and dinner quite a bit. I normally stick to his pastas which he does very well. Dinner I normally bring my own wine and buy one from him. Lunch is a nice deal with soup or salad and pasta for $12.00 a nice loaf of homemade bread and soft butter and he normally has a couple decent wines by the glass at lunch. That's hard to beat.

I don't eat his specials too much because his pasta is very hard to pass up and reasonably priced.
