Much needed REVENGE time.....

When LSU played Iowa in 2005, I'd had been living in Des Moines, Ia for 4 months. My in-laws are HUGE Hawkeye fans. Every football season I hear how Iowa beat LSU in the Capital One bowl. I always reply with "we have a NC since then". The difference between the 2 schools, Iowa wins bowl games & LSU wins championships. I've been waiting for this for 9 years.

I feel your pain.

I'm excited about the game but its been too long ago for the revenge angle. I just crave revenge against Bama.

If we win you can always say we beat you with a true freshman QB starting his first game. If we loose you did not see the LSU team we had this year. This will be a tough game for LSU to win. Maybe the defense can play lights out and take up the slack of the offense. Before Cam's arrival I wouldn't expect LSU's offense to score more than 21points in this game if that much. Cam may find a mismatch or two to exploit. Anytime you loose your starting QB the probabilities are stacked against your offense remaining successful.

Exactly what I have been going through! My in-laws give me crap all the time about that game. (They are from Iowa City and worked for the University before retiring). My consolation for this game are that my kids will be pulling for LSU!!
We will be sitting in the Hawkeye section however. Should be a good game. Looking to quiet some folks down!!
