Excited to see LSU running the spread in the future, starting with the Outback.

With Jennings dual threat capability and the signing of Brandon Harris the #3 DT QB in the country, also recruiting the #2 DT QB in the 2015 class. I hope this shows LSU will be a spread team moving forward. We all know Les loves the qb that can make plays with their feet, and Cam sure knows how to coach them up.

We know LSU bread & butter is the power run game, but I think its time for a change. Let the dynamic athletes loose, LSU has to many freak athletes on offense not to use them. Dont get me wrong I like the power run game and I think you can still use it when needed even though they run the spread..

Never going to happen man. We'll pound the ball and you'll see some two and three WR sets with a gun mixed in. Next season IF Hill stays, Magee, and LF.....there will be some serious ground and pound.

We just had:

One 1000 yd rusher
Two 1000 yd receivers
One 3000 yd passer

And you want things to change???

AJ is a passer who can move. That's what he showed vs. Ark; not a spread.

I think we will see the shotgun set with a RB on each side of Jennings and 3 wide. It is a good set though, helps for extra blocking, power running is available, read option and speed option are available, playaction and drop back passing are all available from this formation. They ran it almost Jennings entire drive vs Arky, except coming out the start from goal line.

Other than this we will always be an I Formation team while Miles is HC.

Why do you think having a QB who can run automatically equates to a spread offense?

Pro style with a QB that CAN run is better than a straight pro-style/spread offense.

They have a better chance of winning the title by scoring 40 or 50 ppg..

LSU is a perennial 10 win team running the football. LSU fans have no idea how hard it is to win one game, let alone 10.

Personally i hope we stay exactly the same but our QB can avoid pressure to extend plays and take off and run if all else fails

I miss the meerkat offense. It had everyone guessing till the snap, including the guys running it.

Yeah boy, Cam coached up those DT's in Flacco, Brees, Rivers and Mett. Oh wait, I forgot about ARE at Indiana. One out of the five is a DT.

BTW, if you can't effectively and consistently pass the ball, you ain't playin for Cam Cameron. I don't care how much Miles likes QB's that can run fast.

So Les goes out and gets the best running back in his tenure at LSU and you think he abandons running his power football?
