Bobby Burton: eliminate Gus' name from Texas consideration

Quit crying, Bama has nothing to fear. Texas is ok with mediocrity(Mack's 2 Conf crowns in 16 yrs) in contrast to what should be expected at UT.
Though some of the BoR at Texas would be "all in" in wanting Saban, there are the JJs,etc..that will squash it from happening.
They'll end up hiring a Jimbo or Art for 75 cents on the dollar of what Saban could've been had for, and end up with but 25% of what CNS results would've yielded..
Texas always squanders the greatness that could truly be, even with the titles they've won in a myriad of sports..they never maximize to the degrees they truly could.
Hell, that northern interloper from the Indian territory across Red River, that beats them almost yearly, with their very own Texan born ballers, has shown this for most of the last 100 years.

I just don't understand why Jimbo would leave when he has at least one more year with Jameis, unless he's really unhappy at FSU.
