I have eaten there a couple of times and have not been impressed. Not bad but there has to be something better, right?

Rpux 61 isnt bad. Planet Thai did not impress me tho.

Magnolia Grill and Kings Tavern are good options. Fat Mamas for tamales, nachos, margaritas if ur lookin for more casual.

I checked out both Magnolia Grill and Kings Tavern online. Are the flatbreads the only thing on the menu at Kings tavern?

I had a seared ribeye, veggies and a nice bottle of red last time i was there.

Maybe they changed it? Dunno.

If you want a "nice" place, go to The Castle, Magnolia Grill, or Pearl Street. If you want just good food and atmosphere Roux 61, Fat Mammas for the margaritas (food is nothing special), Kings Tavern has good flatbreads (specialty pizza), or Cotton Alley. For a good lunch spot eat at Slick Ricks they have great sandwiches and wraps.

I forgot to mention another good lunch spot is The Carriage House they have some great fried chicken.

The castle and Magnolia are two of my favorites. There is a pub under the restaurant at the castle which is a nice chill place to have a drink and you can order off the castle menu if you don't want to dine in the actual restaurant. Also in the morning if you want good coffee or expresso there is an expresso bar on high street called Steampunk they have great coffee and muffins and such.

It's not nice by no means but some of the best fried catfish I've ever had came from this hole in the wall by the bridge called Jugheads.
