9-19 lost 4 in a row
Payroll=$103,105,302 ($44,426,302 over salary cap)

Joe Johnson is guaranteed $69.5 million
D. Willimas is guaranteed $81.6 million
Brook Lopez is guaranteed $30.4 million (out for season)
K. Garrnett is guaranteed $24.4 million

You have already banned from the bench, Lawrence Frank, the highest paid assistant in NBA history six million over six years. He was supposed to be Kidd's headcoaching mentor. Kidd contract is for $10.5 million over 4 years, 75%guaranteed.

From yesterday-
Williams said the Nets currently have no confidence.
Kevin Garnett said the Nets lack an identity and "we don't know who we are."
Heard loud boos from the crowd. Some fans chanted "Fire Kidd! Fire Kidd!" throughout the second half.

Tank the season, trade players?-

By the way your 2014 & 2015 draft picks are unprotected. The Atlanta Hawks have the option of switching 1st round picks with the Nets in both years. Worse part about the switch is that Boston can then claim the highest 1st round pick after the Hawks.

Browns have 2 1st round picks, the Nets might not have one until 2016

Nah... That Spurs team probably beats this Nets team in their prime.

Yeah but theyre still the Browns

All kidding aside, they do have some great young talent and if they can get a QB they could be pretty good. Weeden sux

1. I'd try to trade D-Will and see if I can pick up a 1st rounder or 2.
2. I'd shop Garnett around to playoff teams in hopes of getting a late pick as well.
3. Let PP expire unless you can move him without taking back any future salary.

JJ contract is pretty nasty, so I'd retool around him and Lopez. The Nets is exactly what Mark Cuban said he feared would happen to the Mavs had he signed D-Will.

I don't have a link to back this up but I have always felt that the Oakland Raiders are a dumpster fire of an organization.

That would only help the Hawks &/or Celtics

browns just need a QB and another WR, and they are a playoff contender next season. they have a solid defense that is on the field all day.

Maybe in the next few games paul pierce wil bump his knee and act like he's dying. Have to be caried off by teammates. Then miraculously return later that game and the nets then win out for the rest of the year.

I would take pennies on the dollar, and rebuild. No reason to slap a bandaid on the problem and cost yourself chances at lottery picks.
