If everybody had to file quarterly, the tax code would get reformed in a hurry.

I haven't paid mine yet, I have until Jan 15 and I don't want to think about it.

You're not kidding- the wife and I are both self-employed, so sending those quarterly checks is double terrible for us

I haven't filed quarterly that last 3 years. I don't know why, but I pay a lump sum and the penalty, which is minimal.
