As hunting season comes to a close in roughly one more month....
What are your go-to pre-spawn and spawn bass fishing lures, tips, etc.

Very cold - deep single colorado 1/2 ounce spinner bait
Cold - deep swim bait
Just kinda cold - slow double willow spinner bait, C-rig lizard and Rattle Trap
Warming up - shallow spinner bait and minnow type baits like rogue and rapala, then weightless plastics.

Pre spawn- lipless cranks- usually in a red color, C-Rigs, and tx rigs.
Spawn- jig, fluke, senko, and chatterbait.

Lipless crankbait hands down. I like to throw the rat-l-trap in chrome and red with red hooks just over the grass. You have to tickle the top of the grass and rip it when it gets bogged down. I find myself thinking about fishing while on the deer stand this time of year. Cant hardly wait.

My favorite prespawn bait is a 1/4 oz chartreuse and white humdinger. I've caught way more fish on that in late January through March than anything else. Reel it slow enough to tickle the grass.
Second would be a lipless crankbait in red shad or chrome blue.

I recently got this Spro Bronzeye Shad I'm itching to try out.
Im ready to get back in the kayak and start rolling. This will be my first early season hitting them hard, looking forward to it.

I like the look of that bait Pop! Its something i use alot more in late summer

Looks killer, but like you say, I will probably have to hold off for a while to throw it. Definately got hooked on throwing those hollow bodies last summer.
Looks like I need to stock on lipless cranks and flukes for the upcoming..

Lipless crankbait is something i dont use often so i might grab a few as well.
I can say that a fluke is probally my number one fish catcher. Very good beginner bait also. CAn catch fish just casting and reeling in.

Hollow body Padcrasher was one of my top producers last year, right behind the senko. Of course I was usually fishing high fence...
Any certain color to the flukes? Never thrown one but I hear pearl is pretty popular.
Speaking of swimbaits, I think I might bite the bullet and pick up some Keitech Swing Impact Fat to try out.

My favorite flukes are all shad-like colors.
I throw Zoom plastics only, so in their colors "baitfish" and "arkansas shiner" are my favorite. And anything that looks like them.
